Lots of people give gift cards for Christmas or Birthdays. Personally, I don't like getting gift cards. It's so impersonal. I like when people buy me something that required a little thought. Also, I love giving people gifts, so it's fun to shop for the perfect item for that person. On the otherhand, don't just give someone a gift without being positive it is something the person will like. If you just give them any old thing, you would be better off with a gift card.What are your thoughts? Would you rather receive a gift or a gift card? What would you rather give?
i think a gift card would be better if you didn't know the person really well and you had no idea what to buy them. i would rather receive a gift card because i don't like people spending money on me except my parents.(:
