I don't really understand what is going on but I did hear about the stock markets going down.

The Weekend

What all did you do this past weekend? Go to the game in Moultrie? Go to church? etc.
I didn't go to the game bc we were busy getting ready for Saturday. We had a youth thing Saturday. I did go to the church thing and it was really good. I don't know if I am going back tonight.

Sleep

I went to bed at 7 pm last night! I typically don't get in bed until after 11 pm. After a week and a half of revival at church, I was TIRED. I love going to bed early, but seldom do. How late do you typically stay up? Can you tell a difference in your school work when you go to bed early or stay up extremely late? Explain.
I stay up around 10 I don't go to bed until i just want to. But mostly I go to bed about 9 or 10. i can tell a difference because i can't remember most things and i fall asleep in class.

Army Reps

How did yesterday's Army representatives influence your future choices? Are you now contemplating an army career after high school?
I always thought that in order to be in the army that you had to join the military. I thought about join the army but i don't want to because i could not take the training.

Legal Drinking Age

Channel One has recently been talking about the push by some to change the legal drinking age. Should it be changed from 21 to 18? Why or why not? Pros and cons to the change?

I don't think the drinking age should be changed because there will be more drunk drivers than there are now. I think if they lower the drinking age there will be more teenage deaths.

I thought he was really nice i think he is a people person. I enjoyed his presentation I don't want to go into that career choice. I think his presentation will aid me when i choose job or when I go to college. I think Ms. Gay should continue having speakers come to our class.

I don't think my inside dog could do this but my outside dog probably could if he would try. I think it is awesome that a dog could do that. I believe that dogs of all animals are smart. They may be smarter than humans.I have two dogs and both of them know when some one is coming to see them.

Homecoming Week 2008

I went to the game because i am in Chorus and we had the sing the National Anthem. People said that we were really good, I didn't get to go to the parade I had to find a dress so I could go to the dance. Then Saturday I went to the dance and it was really fun I went with my boyfriend.

yes because i have experienced this before with my real mom. I loved and trusted her, one time she told me that she was coming to my house. But she didn't come and i waited all day outside. She lost her trust from me so now I don't talk to her that much when I do it is on the phone.

Abandoned Baby found at Beijing's Bird Nest toilets

It follows:A visitor to Beijing's National "Bird's Nest" Stadium was shocked to find a new-born baby abandoned in one of the venue's toilets, local media reported on Wednesday. The baby, later identified as a girl, was found by a woman around noon on Tuesday at the Bird's Nest, which is currently holding athletics events for the Paralympic Games, the Beijing Times said."The woman told venue staff that there was a newborn baby in the toilet, with blood still on its body," the paper said. Volunteers and staff searched for the mother for two hours to no avail, then sent the baby to a hospital. The baby was in good health and was feeding, the paper said, citing people with knowledge of the situation, but said the whereabouts of the mother remained unclear. Authorities were investigating, the paper said.

I can't believe a mother would leave her baby in a toilet. I think the mother did this because she may have had the baby then didn't want it.

Brittany Spears and the VMAs

I don't watch the VMAs and i don't like Brittany Spears i think she is crazy she is not a good role model for children. I didn't watch it because i am not allowed to watch MTV. I just watch CMT or christian music videos.

Sick Days

I wouldn't normally share such personal and disgusting news *haha*, but last night I was up vomiting. Typically, I wouldn't be here today because I still feel rather sickly, but with the new policy regarding substitutes in place I felt I must come to school today even though I have at least 12 sick days left for the year. If you haven't heard, your teachers will no longer be able to call in a sub due to budget issues at the Board of Education. Instead, the teachers that are at school will have to cover a teacher's class when a teacher is absent. How do you think this will affect your teachers and you?Write at least a 5 sentence response.

it will affect the teachers a lot because if the teacher is sick they dont want to come to school but they have to anyway. It will affect the students because if the teacher is sick someone else might get sick to.

I like blogging it's fun but some subjects are boring. We should have something interesting to talk about like how are our weekend is, what we are doing this weekend and stuff like that.

I think that a woman should not be a president because I think being the president is a man's job. Just like preaching i think that should be a man's job. I think Hillary Clinton's supporters will be drawn to McCain since he has a female for a running mate.

Teen Pregnancy

As everyone has observed, teen pregnancy has been on the rise over the past 2 years. Why do you think this has happened? Is it related to peer pressure? Accidental? I think it is the parents fault for not setting a curfew for their son or daughter. I also think it is related to peer pressure or maybe that the guy or girl is pressuring them. I believe if a guy or girl is pressuring you to do that you should leave them alone. Sometimes it can be accidental but i think you know what you are doing when you do it. But mostly I think it is the parents fault that they don't care what their child is doing or maybe their child has to much freedom.
